We are part of an Automotive Security Architecture team within a leading semiconductor ecosystem, focused on building secure and scalable solutions for next-generation vehicle platforms.
The role involves designing and driving secure embedded software architectures, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including silicon, firmware, and system engineering. The Solution Architect will ensure that all solutions align with automotive safety and cybersecurity standards while meeting the requirements of global customers.
This position requires a strong focus on end-to-end architecture, security compliance, and integration across multiple layers of the automotive technology stack.
Your tasks
- Designing and developing automotive embedded security software for microcontroller-based systems
- Implementing firmware solutions and managing SoC-level integration for secure architectures
- Leading threat modelling and performing risk analysis for automotive systems
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 21434 and ISO 26262 cybersecurity and safety standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement secure system architectures
- Developing and integrating security mechanisms across embedded platforms
- Troubleshooting and debugging firmware and embedded security issues
- Driving architecture design using modelling tools and frameworks
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Solution Architect role and strong experience in C programming for embedded systems
- Hands-on expertise in automotive embedded software development
- Good understanding of microcontroller and SoC architecture
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including cryptography, protocols, and threat modelling
- Experience working with ISO 21434 (cybersecurity) and ISO 26262 (functional safety) standards
- Proficiency in firmware debugging and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with UML and tools like Enterprise Architect for system design and experience working in Agile development environments
- Fluent English required
Nice to have
- Proficiency in DSP and memory architecture with a strong system-level perspective
- Knowledge of system-level integration across silicon, firmware, and hardware
- Experience in customer-facing technical engagement and technical advisory roles
- Ability to work in global, distributed, and matrix team environments
- Focus on continuous improvement and architecture optimization initiatives
