Senior Solution Architect

Job Summary:

Experience: 5+ years of experience with load balancing in a large enterprise environment.

The Senior Load Balancing Engineer will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the load balancing infrastructure for cloud and data center environments using VMware Advanced NSX/AVI and F5 Systems. This role requires hands-on experience in designing and maintaining complex load balancing solutions, with an emphasis on scalability, network performance, and automation.

This engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support load balancing architecture adjustments, and provide L4 support for troubleshooting and maintenance.

Essential Functions:

Configuration Maintenance: Configure and manage VMware Advanced NSX/AVI server load balancers and Global Load Balancers (GSLB), ensuring stability and optimal performance.

Network Administration: Perform daily administrative tasks for load balancer environments, monitoring network performance, addressing issues, and deploying solutions as needed.

Collaborative Design: Work closely with network and engineering teams to design advanced load balancing solutions for data centers and cloud environments.

Infrastructure Development: Implement, upgrade, and install new equipment to support evolving architecture and customer needs.

Network Optimization: Regularly assess network efficiency, leveraging new technologies and optimizing configurations to meet performance goals.

Network Troubleshooting: Act as a senior support resource for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues related to load balancing.

Interoperability Support: Ensure seamless network interoperability, offer guidance on infrastructure, and provide L4 support for LB/GSLB troubleshooting.

Documentation Training: Maintain thorough documentation of configurations and processes; mentor and train junior engineers in network administration and load balancing best practices.

Project Collaboration: Support complex assignments and collaborate on cross-functional projects, utilizing network-related processes and procedures.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency with VMware Advanced NSX/AVI or F5 Systems (LTM/GTM).
• Advanced understanding of networking technologies, traffic flow, and certificate management.
• Strong knowledge of VMware NSX technologies, automation concepts, and enterprise-level solution design.
• Scripting/automation skills (e.g., Python 3.x) to streamline processes.
• Familiarity with network management tools and concepts.

Preferred Certifications Skills:

• Cisco Systems (CCNA/CCNP)
• VMware NSX (VCA-DBT/VCP-NV)
