As a Senior Solution Architect at Backbase, you take a leading role in designing and delivering integrated, innovative solutions that leverage Backbase products to help banks and financial institutions meet complex technology and business objectives.
Beyond solution delivery, you drive architectural governance, minimize technical debt, and enable clear, traceable decision-making. As a trusted technical advisor, you influence high-level decisions, mentor junior architects, and contribute actively to the continuous evolution of Backbase's architecture practice.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect (SA), Subject Matter Expert (SME), or consultant.
Strong technical background in modern software languages and solution design (e.g., Java, Spring, Angular, Microservices, integration patterns).
Solid understanding and application of SDLC and Secure SDLC principles, with experience balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
Broad and current understanding of infrastructure patterns and key technologies including cloud, virtualization, containerization, orchestration, security, and connectivity.
Skilled in applying architectural tools for decision-making (options papers, sequence diagrams, topology diagrams, component illustrations).
Experience with Backbase architecture is desirable.
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to architectural practice improvements and mentoring peers.
