We are looking for a Senior Solar Design Engineer to lead end-to-end design for our rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects. This is a hands-on senior role requiring deep technical expertise across system design, engineering calculations, and execution support — ideal for someone who has seen the full lifecycle of utility-scale solar projects.

• Lead complete design of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems — from concept to detailed engineering
• Perform accurate system sizing, yield estimation, and performance calculations
• Prepare array layouts, SLDs, panel schedules, connection diagrams, and 3D renderings using PVsyst, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
• Develop detailed designs covering SLD, PML, conduit & wire scheduling, cable routing, and equipment layouts
• Build accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) based on project specifications
• Review designs from junior engineers and vendors; ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
• Collaborate with projects, procurement, and site execution teams to resolve design challenges
• Drive design optimization for cost, performance, and constructability

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Solar Design Engineer (utility-scale / ground-mounted projects mandatory)
• All-round experience across design, engineering calculations, BOM, and execution support
• Strong proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro
• Deep understanding of electrical systems, solar PV technologies, and relevant standards (IEC, IS, CEA)
• Experience mentoring junior engineers is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
