About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Backend Development
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 6+
Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, and RESTful services
Solid understanding of: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles and Enterprise design patterns
Experience with microservices architecture, service orchestration, and API lifecycle management
Proficiency in Entity Framework / EF Core, LINQ
Database & Data Layer
Strong experience with SQL Server
Expertise in Database design, Query optimization, and Performance tuning.
Front-End Development:
Hands-on experience with Angular (Angular 8+)
Strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Modern UI component frameworks
Experience integrating Angular apps with .NET Core APIs
Familiarity with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
Understanding of UI/UX best practices and performance optimization
Python (Nice to Have)
Working knowledge of Python for Automation and scripting, Data processing and transformation and Backend utilities and integrations
Ability to integrate Python capabilities within the .NET ecosystem
Cloud, DevOps & Tools
Experience with Azure cloud platform (preferred)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (EPL-X DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.), Automated build and release processes
Strong experience using Git-based source control
AI & Productivity Tools (Must have)
Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot / AI-assisted development tools
Ability to use AI tools for Code generation and refactorin, Unit test generation, Debugging and documentation
Understanding of secure and responsible AI usage within enterprise standards
Quality, Testing & Security
Experience with Unit testing and integration testing, API validation
Knowledge of Secure coding practices, Application security fundamentals
Exposure to Logging, monitoring, and diagnostics tools
Professional Skills
Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to own components/modules independently
Proven track record of delivering in SOW-driven engagements, meeting SLAs and deadlines
Job Expectations:
Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using .NET Core / .NET 6+
Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features in an Agile environment
Develop responsive, high-quality Angular-based front-end applications
Ensure code quality through best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns
Optimize database performance and manage data access using EF Core and SQL Server
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Contribute to application security, scalability, and reliability improvements
Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot / Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity and code quality
