Responsibilities:
- Design and execute tests to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites.
- Create efficient and effective test strategies tailored to complex enterprise software.
- Willing to contribute to both product and feature development.
- Identify, document, and report product defects promptly and accurately.
- Contribute to continuous product quality improvement and participate in planning and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate within an agile team throughout the development lifecycle—from planning to execution and reporting.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in test automation using tools and languages such as Playwright, TestComplete, Selenium, and Python.
- Strong understanding of testing fundamentals, including test levels, types, techniques, and automation processes.
- Demonstrated critical and lateral thinking skills.
- High attention to detail with a pragmatic and quality-focused mindset.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a SAFe/Agile environment.
- Ability to clearly articulate and justify testing strategies, tools, and automation efforts to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field), or equivalent.
- Must possess at least 5 years of experience in testing complex software systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing test automation suites for enterprise-grade software.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of protocols such as Modbus, ION, Modbus TCP, BACnet, or similar protocols used in Industrial Automation and Electrical Distribution domains is a definite plus.
- Experience testing complex software products in domains such as Enterprise Energy Management Systems, SCADA Solutions, or Network Management Systems is a plus.
- Knowledge and expertise in Energy Management Distribution products such as Energy Meters and Power Meters is desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a strong team player attitude, are essential.
