Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Software Tester with strong experience in both
manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high product quality by designing, executing, and maintaining test strategies across web and/or mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory)
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts
- Participate in test strategy, estimation, and release planning
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results
- Ensure test coverage across UI, API, and backend (where applicable)
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices
- Support UAT and production validation when required
Required Skills & Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in software testing (Manual + Automation)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
- Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium (any)
- Experience with programming/scripting languages:
- Java / Python / JavaScript (any)
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good SQL knowledge for database validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Performance testing exposure (JMeter, LoadRunner )
