Senior Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in JavaScript/TypeScript-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong programming knowledge in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.

Hands-on experience in any one of the testing Frameework Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Webdriver or other JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation frameworks can also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop robust and reusable automation frameworks for web applications.
• Create and maintain automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain automation scripts and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Collaborate with QA, development, product, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities.
• Contribute to framework improvements, coding standards, and automation best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Must have 6 years of experience
• Experience in UI/Web automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation framework:

Playwright

Cypress

WebdriverIO

Seleieum Webdriver

• Other equivalent JS/TS automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of automation framework design and reusable test components.
• Experience with API testing and basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of Git/version control.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Strong understanding of QA processes, test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
