Consumers and dealers come to OLX India, India's largest online classifieds platform, to buy and sell used and new products. OLX India operates in over 10 categories across India.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Framework & Scripting
- Design, build, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks (Selenium / Playwright / Appium / Cypress).
- Write clean, reusable automation scripts using Java / Python / JavaScript (any).
- Convert manual test cases to automated suites ensuring high coverage.
Testing & Quality Ownership
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing across web/mobile platforms.
- Identify test scenarios, write detailed test plans, and maintain living documentation.
- Ensure automation is reliably integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/ GitHub Actions/GitLab/ CircleCI).
Quality Gates & Delivery
- Implement and monitor quality gates in CI (test coverage, flaky test detection, stability checks).
- Perform root-cause analysis for failures and work with developers for fixes.
- Maintain execution dashboards and report test results with clarity.
Tools & Technologies
- Strong experience with Selenium / Playwright / Appium / Cypress.
- API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, or similar.
- Version control (Git).
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Collaboration & Ownership
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ship high-quality releases.
- Mentor junior QA members in automation best practices.
- Drive initiatives for improving automation coverage, performance tests, and reducing manual efforts.
