About The Role
Design, develop, and execute test automation modules for web applications using Playwright and TypeScript.
Key Responsibilities
What are my responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and software functional specifications in accordance with business needs
- Design, Develop, and Execute test modules and test scripts for the web applications
- Perform code reviews, create test cases, and ensure that the delivery conforms to organization and project quality requirements
- Ensure submission and integration of solution artifacts into software configuration management system, within committed delivery timelines
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders on requirements analysis, component integration, and continuous delivery
Qualifications
Education: B.E/ B. Tech/ MCA/ M.E/ M. Tech/MSc Computer Science
Experience: 5-10 years of test automation experience for web/cloud applications
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge in Playwright test automation tool
- Working experience in programming language – TypeScript
- Strong experience in designing and developing test automation suites
- Experience in non-functional test automation using tools like Apache JMeter
- Good understanding of software testing and test framework design concepts
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (oral and written) and a quick learner of new technologies and trends
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with various stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Software testing certifications will have additional weightage
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Kubernetes/Docker
