Senior Software Technologist - Devops
Your role:
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern version control and automation platforms (e.g., GitHub or similar).
Build and operate cloud-native platforms using container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and managed cloud services.
Enable development and test teams through self-service tools, standardized workflows, and platform capabilities that improve velocity and quality.
Define and implement reusable CI/CD and infrastructure patterns across teams.
Integrate security controls into pipelines (e.g., code scanning, dependency management, secrets handling) and enforce secure delivery practices.
Ensure systems and processes meet regulatory and compliance requirements, including required controls and documentation.
Troubleshoot production incidents, lead root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes to improve reliability.
Drive measurable improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, and system availability through automation and optimization.
Implement and maintain observability practices including monitoring, alerting, and logging.
Lead cross-team initiatives, mentor engineers, and guide adoption of DevOps best practices.
Participate in on-call support for 24x7 production systems and global deployments.
Be prepared to discuss specific implementations, trade-offs, and production challenges personally led or resolved.
You're the right fit if:
8+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability, or cloud engineering supporting production SaaS systems
Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or equivalent) and distributed, containerized systems
Experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using modern automation platforms (e.g., GitHub and GitHub Actions or similar)
Experience implementing cloud security best practices, including secrets management and pipeline security
Proficiency in automation and scripting for infrastructure and operational workflows
Exposure to AI-assisted engineering and modern development workflows
Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., SAFe or similar frameworks)
Strong troubleshooting skills across complex production systems
Business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to product and operational goals
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare or similar) is a plus
Understanding of cloud economics and cost optimization strategies
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive technical standard
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
