Software Engineer for MRI Scanner SW Development

In this role, You Analyses, designs, tests, codes, secures, debugs, modifies, deploys, integrates and maintains (system) software enhancements, test environment and/or new software by

using state-of-the-art technologies and practices and interacts with users / product owners to define / adjust requirements and/or necessary modifications.

You are a part of:

The Co-Creation team which designs, develops and maintains unique MRI scanner solutions that meet the specific needs of high-profile research customers. MRI scanners are complex medical devices with state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions that push clinical and technological boundaries in healthcare.u00A0We work in a small but strong multi-disciplinary team and in close collaboration with our customers, to ensure a rapid development cycle of a tailored product.

Your Role:

  • Develops and maintains unique MRI scanner solutions that meet the specific needs of high-profile research customers.

  • Work in a small but multi-disciplinary team and in close collaboration with our customers, to ensure a rapid development cycle of a tailored product.

  • Pro-active attitude in the development of (test) software in a challenging development environment, e.g. reaches out for help in challenging assignments

  • Experience with (test) software development that involves C++ and scripting languages

  • Affinity with optimizing and developing (test) software and is motivated to take it to the next level

  • Affinity with computer science and software development tools

You are fit if:

  • You have experience with software development that involves C++ and scripting languages on complex systems in large code bases

  • You enjoy (embedded) software development in a challenging advanced development environment

  • You can clearly show a pro-active attitude in handling challenging assignments

  • You can demonstrate clear and good communication skills and have experience in working in teams with a global footprint

  • You are fascinated by state-of-the-art hardware and software technology

  • You have over 8+ years of full lifecycle software development experience

  • You have a bacheloru2019s or masteru2019s degree in a relevant field (Embedded Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, Electronics)
