Senior Software Support Engineer

At Horizon56, we are developing and implementing cutting edge software solutions for the oil & gas industry. As a testament to this, what we have delivered so far, has been so well received by our users, that we now are in a situation where we need to deliver our products at scale.

You will join our team of software and support engineers where your focus will be to provide technical support to our clients such as diagnosing and troubleshooting application problems as well as monitoring and maintaining our production and development environments in Azure and Azure DevOps. It is also expected that you join our 24/7 software support service on a rotational basis.

The team has a flat, low-key, and fun work environment, where you will be able to bring your opinions and skills to life and build your own future. You will be primarily working from Chennai, India through our partner (Greaves Technologies) with teams located across Norway, Denmark, UK and USA.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal English language skills and ability to deliver simple and step-by-step technical assistance for international users.
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Environment and application services.
• Working knowledge of Relational database (MSSQL), windows servers and basic SQL programming.
• Ability to maintain Standard Operating Procedures or Knowledge bases and recommend changes whenever required.
• Working Knowledge on ITSM, escalation processes and administration.
• ITIL certification
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.

Pay range:

Between 20 Lakhs to 26 Lakhs INR per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
