Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, particularly focusing on CPQ and Sales Cloud functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, development, and operations to ensure quality and timely delivery of features.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for Salesforce applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects found during testing; ensure timely resolution.
  • Automate testing scenarios to improve efficiency using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Analyze requirements and provide feedback for improvement, ensuring robust quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and methodologies.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/testing, with at least 2 years of experience specifically with Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud.
  • Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and experience in automated testing tools/frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including objects, fields, and relationships in CPQ and Sales Cloud.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Salesforce certifications, particularly Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, or Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience in performance testing tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience in working within Agile teams.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitrise).
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team towards achieving high-quality standards.
