Senior Software Quality Engineer

The Software Quality Engineering Associate supports Information Services (I.S.) Quality Assurance (QA) processes with close guidance. He/She assists in identifying problems, generating alternatives, and recommending solutions within defined processes. This position documents the progress of assigned tasks to ensure objectives are met. He/She collaborates effectively with QA team members, application developers, software vendors, consultants, user communities, and test environment technical support staff in the support of the documentation and execution of testing procedures, and follows proper defect management processes. This position supports testing efforts of all complexity levels.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for testing and ensuring acceptance criteria on User Stories is met during the delivery sprints
• Builds test plans and test scenarios.
• Creates test cases and test automation scripts.
• Executes and validates test set-up to ensure the environment is ready for testing.
• Testing (automated, service testing, service integration testing, functional testing, etc.) and quality assurance.
• Creates and maintains continuous testing jobs in CI/CD pipeline.
• Works closely with developers to test and drive quality attainment in-line with development.
