Senior Software Quality Engineer

Role Overview:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software QA to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware technologies, C++ development, and Python-based automation frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites, as well as debugging complex issues using logs and source code.

About the Role:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python.
• Analyze and debug C++ codebases and log files to identify root causes of issues.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to understand features and design test plans.
• Set up and manage VMware environments for automated and manual testing.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to integrate test automation into the development lifecycle.
• Develop performance and stress tests for system validation.
• Collaborate with DevOps for infrastructure support related to automation.
• Ensure product quality and provide feedback to improve software design and testability.

About You:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
• Basic programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Solid experience in automating tests for complex software systems.
• In-depth understanding of VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) platforms.
• Experience in debugging using logs, crash dumps, and analyzing stack traces.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile team environment.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
