Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience in data centers, networking or scale operations.
Experience in designing and implementing scale, real-time software systems.
Experience in Network Test Automation, Networking Protocols, and Network Troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Lead the team for managing engineers who function as a virtual device vendor for Google Global Networks.
Be responsible for hiring, coaching, and supporting leaders within the team.
Motivate the team, foster a sense of ownership, define the mission, and rally the team to support it.
Oversee networking technology, software development lifecycle, and software and hardware testing and validation at scale.
