Join our dynamic team as a Lead Software Engineer, where you will lead by example in modernizing our technology stack, driving excellence in software engineering practices, and mentoring the next generation of engineering talent. This role is pivotal in setting high standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment and operation
  • Full Lifecycle Development: Engage in end-to-end software development, including gathering requirements, designing architecture, writing high-quality code, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications in production
  • Back-End Engineering: Develop highly scalable and efficient back-end microservices using modern .NET frameworks, focusing on performance, reliability, and security
  • Front-End Engineering: Build responsive, intuitive, and high-performance user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks
  • Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Utilize cloud platforms and best practices to manage infrastructure, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth deployment and operations
  • Leadership & Design: Lead small feature sets end to end. Own the design, implementation, testing of small features and be responsible for deployments and observability of it too. Collaborate with Product team to achieve these objectives. Guide the team to achieve the design, development, testing and deployment of such small features
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, other engineers) to deliver impactful features. Provide mentorship and code review feedback to junior engineers
  • Innovation & Problem Solving: Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, debug complex issues across the stack, and introduce new technologies or methodologies to improve engineering efficiency and product quality
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
  • Architecture: Proven experience building and working within microservices architectures
  • Development Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
  • Problem Solving: Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems
  • Proven solid technical foundation, a problem-solving mindset, and practical experience in building enterprise-grade applications using the specified tech stack

Technical Skills and Tech Stack Knowledge:

  • Cloud Technologies (Mandatory): Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Cloud Native & DevOps Tools: Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI), and infrastructure-as-code principles
  • Databases & APIs: Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. Experience designing and consuming robust RESTful APIs
  • Testing: Commitment to quality assurance, including experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks
  • Front-End (Mandatory): Proficiency in modern front-end technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and at least one major framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Back-End (Mandatory): Proven expertise in the .NET tech stack, including C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework
