Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Zoho Platform Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in building, customizing, and maintaining scalable systems on the Zoho platform, including Sales & Purchase Order Management, Warehouse Management, and Accounting Systems. You'll be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, and support delivering high-quality solutions that

meet specific business needs of our clients.

Job Duties

✅System Development & Customization

Translate business requirements into detailed design specifications.

Configure, customize, and extend Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho

Inventory, and related modules.

✅Implementation & Testing

Develop and debug applications using JavaScript, Deluge, REST APIs, and Zoho tools.

Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and system) to ensure robustness and

reliability.

Participate in code and design reviews to uphold software quality standards.

✅Collaboration & Client Interaction

Collaborate with internal engineers to align on architecture, timelines, and coding

standards.

Communicate directly with end-users to clarify requirements and gather feedback.

Demonstrate adaptability to handle changes in scope and new client needs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

✅ Web Development Background

Experience designing and developing web-based applications from detailed design

onward.

✅ Technical Proficiency

Strong understanding of software development processes and quality assurance practices.

Solid skills in JavaScript, Deluge scripting, and REST API integration.

Ability to read and translate functional specifications into clean, maintainable code and

documentation.

Proficient in planning and executing unit, integration, and UAT testing.

✅ Communication & Teamwork

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Confident in peer review discussions and client interactions.

Ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

✅Zoho Platform Expertise

Hands-on experience with Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, or

other Zoho tools.

✅Domain Knowledge

Familiarity with order management, warehouse management, or accounting systems.

Background in warehousing operations or wholesale distribution is a strong plus.

✅Client-Facing Experience

Experience managing evolving client requirements and working with non-technical users.

✅Data Migration

Experience with data migration using SQL or tools for transitioning between legacy and

modern systems.
