Senior Software Engineer

ZineIQ works with the Government and Companies across the globe contributing to their Digital Future.

You will be part of the Technical Engineering Team and will be working on managing the operations will be reporting to Head of Architecture / Product.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Team and will be working on enterprise level applications to build web applications that facilitates data exchanges across multiple systems.

Mandatory Tech Skills:

Node.JS, React.JS, GoLang

Knowledge of AWS is a strong preference.

Preferred Skills (You can apply even if you are not skilled in these): Blockchain, Solidity Smart Contracts

What you will be working on:

• Drive the development team in building reusable and extensible services

• Advocate and practice agile principles in software development

• Design and build services with a focus on business value and usability

• Design systems with scalability and flexibility in mind

• Embrace and ensure lean operations for all system

• Contribute to technical discussion or solutioning session

• Perform code reviews and encourage best practices

• Maintain user guides and technical documentations

What we are looking for:

• Proficient in programming languages - JavaScript (NodeJs and React) and Go Language

• Good understanding of the cross-border trade, trade financing processes is an added advantage

• Experience with Cloud hosting or PaaS such as AWS, Terraform, etc

• Write high quality and maintainable code on open-source (Linux based) web platforms and frameworks (Example: NodeJS, Angular, ReactJS, Go, etc.)

• Experience with both frontend and backend development from development to operation

• Experience with micro-service architecture

• Experience with at least 1 SQL and NoSQL database

• Excellent written and communication and skills

• Work in a cross-functional service team consisting of software engineers, AWS / DevOps, and other specialists
