Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Design and develop full stack web applications using Python (Django) on the backend and React on the frontend, building and maintaining scalable, high-quality software products while collaborating with dynamic teams, owning end-to-end feature development, and mentoring the next generation of developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack web applications using Python (Django) on the backend and React on the frontend.
• Develop innovative software solutions using design thinking, lean, and agile methodologies.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-quality software products using the latest technologies and platforms.
• Collaborate with fast-paced, dynamic teams to deliver value-driven client experiences.
• Own end-to-end feature development, from API design to UI implementation.
• Mentor and contribute to the growth of the next generation of developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Must-Have Skills
• Experience: 5 to 8 years.
• Core Stack: Python/Django, with React or Svelte on the front end.
• Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required as the primary cloud platform.
• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in Django
• Solid hands-on experience with React.js for building modern, responsive UIs.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of full stack architecture and integration between frontend and backend systems.

Preferred Skills

• Nice to Have Qualifications
• Experience with Pandas and PySpark.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API) and modern JS/TS tooling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Product and customer-centric mindset.
• Great Object-Oriented skills, including design patterns.
• Good to great problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-border, distributed teams.
