About the Role:

• We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. This is a Senior Individual Contributor (IC) role, ideal for engineers who can independently design, build, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, React, AWS, and modern CI/CD practices, along with experience building high-quality production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, React, and AWS.

• Independently own and deliver medium to large-sized features from design through production deployment.

• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and production-quality code following engineering best practices.

• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to scalable, resilient application architecture.

• Perform design reviews and code reviews to ensure high engineering standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring application reliability and performance.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers (TPMs), UX designers, and other engineering teams.

• Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.

• Build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services and modern DevOps methodologies.

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated software delivery.

• Contribute to engineering excellence through continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong programming expertise in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with React.js for front-end application development.

• Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to Kotlin is preferred.

• Working knowledge of AI/ML-enabled applications or integrations is an added advantage.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.

• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and modern development workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
