Role Overview :
We are hiring an experienced UI Developer to oversee our front-end team, with a focus on delivering scalable, user- centric web applications. This role combines hands-on development, leadership, and innovation in a fast-paced consumer tech environment.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop responsive, scalable user interfaces using React and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Drive technical excellence using modern UI frameworks (e.g., Redux, React Router, Material-UI) and best practices in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to coding and security standards.
Requirements :
- 4+ years of full-time professional experience in UI development, with a focus on building complex web applications using React and Node.js (mandatory).
- Experience working at a consumer tech company of scale (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
- Expertise in modern UI frameworks/libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router, Material-UI).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end/backend integration.
- Demonstrated X-factor (e.g., innovative projects, leadership beyond traditional roles) will be given extra weightage.
- Open-source contributions are highly valued and will be strongly considered.
- Thoughtfully crafted resumes showcasing relevant experience will be given additional weightage.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience (4+ years preferred) in a front-end development role.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
