Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Sr Software Engineer to join our Process Automation Digital Organization. The role requires one to be responsible for developing automation for validating flows in the software application, performance engineering, industrial data preparation, automating simulation data and executing scripts in CI/CD pipeline to deliver a product of the highest quality. The work model for the role is : #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: . The responsibilities include main focused on UI test development and understanding the product/feature by discussing with the SME and automate the test cases. . Participate in regular code reviews with a high bar on the quality of the code. . Fix issues in testing and bugs in the test pipeline. . The expectation is to not write test cases, but an aptitude of testing is required for this role.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or equivalent from premier institutes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• 8+ years of experience as Software Developer & minimum 4+ years of total experience writing code in C#/JavaScript/TypeScript and Selenium/Protractor.
• Understanding of UI automation best practices.
• Experience in Web Services testing (REST /SOAP).
• Experience in UI/API test development.
• Experience in developing UI automation framework is plus.
• Experience/Knowledge of web protocols and system architecture is desired.
• Experience working with global teams highly desirable.
• Nice To Have:
• Experience in Microsoft Azure platform development.
• Microsoft Azure Certifications
