Senior Software Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Intelligent Automation,GenAIand Agentic AIto design, build, and deploy end-to-end intelligent automation solutions by combining RPA, workflow platforms, Generative AI, and Agentic AI technologies. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience integrating automation platforms with modern LLMs and AI agent frameworks across cloud-agnostic environments (Google, Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent).

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years ofexperienceinenterprise software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Intelligent Automation and RPA tools (UiPath)equivalent).
• Hands-onexpertisein low‑code/no‑code solutionsusingMicrosoftPower Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI dashboard design and preparation
• End-to-end automation lifecycle experience including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Hands-onprogrammingexpertisein Python or equivalent, object oriented/functional languages for building and integrating AI-drivensolutions withappropriate designpatterns, SOLIDprinciples hands-on experience with Generative AI concepts including prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and LLM integration.
• Experience working with LLM platforms such as Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent.
• Agentic AI development experience using frameworks such asLangChain,LangGraph, Google ADK, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
• Experience integrating solutions using REST APIs, databases, message queues, and enterprise systems.
• Preferred Certifications - RPA andlowcode/nocodecertifications(UiPath, Power Automate, Microsoft Power Platform),GenAI or LLM certifications,Cloud AI certifications(Google, Microsoft, AWS), or equivalentindustryrecognizedcredentials.
