Majesco is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team our talented, creative, and innovative team. Majesco supports a Remote First work environment that supports working remotely from your home in addition to our office locations in Mumbai and Pune.
All About the Role:
- Develop Quality software by practicing software engineering principles and best practices.
- Embrace First Time Right, Automation, Reusability, Maintainability, and Secure Coding in everyday work.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with developers and manual testers to identify test scenarios and defects
- Takes part in code reviews (self and team) and suggest/fix any defects/design issues identified.
- Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing
- Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and review meetings

All About You:
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Automation testing using Selenium/Playwright and Java with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
- Good knowledge of OOPs programming concepts andexperience in Java
- Expert in automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium
- Knowledge of Maven, Cucumber, and Jenkins
- Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in developing and enhancing automation testing frameworks.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality automation test scripts adhering to best practices.
- Knowledge of Test automation techniques, Requirement understanding, Test scenarios, and Test case writing for Automation
- Knowledge of distributed SCM (GitHub, SVN, etc)
- UI and/or API-level test automation expertise
- Experience in Mobile Automation Testing using Appium.
- Knowledge of AI tools for Testing (added advantage)
- Knowledge of the Insurance domain (added advantage)
- Worked in a team alongside Developers, Testers, Analysts, DevOps, Product Owners, etc.
- Experience across the quality assurance and testing lifecycle, including industry-standard techniques and tools and knowledge of process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- A wider interest in technology and how it can be used.
Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Development, or a related field.
- Been part of peer reviews in the past
- Knowledge of CI tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure DevOps), JavaScript
- Any other coding/test automation experience
- Knowledge ofCSS, HTML5
