Senior Software Engineer – Telecommunications Core Networks Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated individual contributor who has hands-on experience in software development and testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, testing, and maintaining product features and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. 4-6 years of experience with design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable C/C++ code for high-throughput network and telecom-based applications.
  2. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing codebase to improve performance, latency, reliability, and security.
  3. Lead code reviews, drive technical design discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
  4. Stay current with emerging 3GPP standards, technologies, and industry best practices related to telecommunications and Location Based Services (LBS).
  5. Ensure code quality by adhering to software engineering best practices, agile methodologies, and rigorous automated testing.

Required Skills:

  1. Strong programming skills in Java (Java 1.8 and above), Core Java.
  2. Good understanding of OOPs, multithreading, collections, and data structures.
  3. Experience with JDBC, MySQL, and PL/SQL.
  4. Hands-on experience with automation and unit/integration testing.

 Additional Skills:

  1. Experience with NMS (Network Management Systems) and EMS (Element Management Systems).
  2. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
