Position Purpose

A Senior Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. Must have extensive experience working with Java programming language and should also be well versed with various Java-based frameworks and libraries. The person will be responsible for analyzing requirements, developing an end to end solution for both frontend and backend including clean, efficient code, followed by writing unit and integration test cases with above-average code

coverage. It will also require them to inspect bugs across environments and assist in their resolution. The

person should be able to work on POCs to establish new features to be tried out in applications

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Experience Level: 3 to 10 years of experience.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

1. Expert in Java 8 & above, Junit
2. Expert in experience in Web Technologies (Spring Boot and Spring-related frameworks)
3. Expert in SQL (SQL queries, Packages, stored procedures, functions and database modeling)
4. Strong in Hibernate /JPA, Webservices (
5. Strong in any ONE of the Front End Technologies (Angular/jQuery/React/GWT)
6. Implement security features such as authentication and authorization using Spring Security.

Good to have skills

1. Understanding of dependency management (Gradle/Maven), Event-based frameworks(Kafka/IBM MQ)
2. Exposure to Performance tuning
3. Microservices such as multithreading, concurrency, and data structures
4. Exposure to Database Schema versioning tools like liquibase or flyway
5. Exposure to DevOps platform( Jenkins/TeamCity) TeamCity), application metrics and monitoring
