Senior Software Engineer - System Analyst

• Fidelity is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join their team for a legacy modernization project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, REST API, Spring framework, and Scrum methodology

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing legacy systems to understand current functionalities and dependencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Draft detailed requirements and technical specifications for the modernization project.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Analyst or similar role in a legacy modernization project.
• Good understanding of Java, REST API, and Spring framework
• Demonstrated ability to understand and analyse old codebases and systems.
• Excellent understanding of Scrum methodology and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Good to have

• Certification in Scrum
• Prior experience in financial services
• Knowledge of Mainframe systems
