Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js (Express.js/NestJS) and Java with Spring Boot
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with high performance, security, and reliability
- Build enterprise‑grade services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate
- Integrate backend services with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Redis
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth2, and Spring Security
- Develop asynchronous and event‑driven solutions using Kafka/RabbitMQ
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
- Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and estimations
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and architecture teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and enterprise standards
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
- Experience with microservices architecture and API design
- Solid understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases
- Hands‑on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, npm/yarn
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Good to Have
- Experience in banking, fintech, or enterprise systems
- Exposure to API gateways, distributed systems, and system integrations
