We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js + Spring Boot) to build cloud-native microservices at scale. You'll design resilient APIs, event-driven workflows (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and high-performance services deployed via Docker/Kubernetes on AWS. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express/NestJS) and Spring Boot.
- Build and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices with scalable architecture.
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS/SNS.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code following industry best practices.
- Integrate caching solutions using Redis for performance optimization.
- Containerize applications using Docker, deploy on Kubernetes/AWS.
- Implement API security using JWT, OAuth2, API Gateway policies.
- Perform unit, integration, and API testing; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for architecture, code reviews, and delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js, Java Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch).
- Solid understanding of design patterns, scalability, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NestJS, WebFlux, gRPC, or GraphQL.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), and observability tools.
- Exposure to fintech/payments/banking domain (optional).
