Job Roles & Responsibilities
As part of Swiggy's Engineering team, you will contribute to building high-performance backend systems that power India's most trusted convenience platform.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining backend services using Go for logistics and food delivery systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect scalable backend solutions.
- Optimizing backend code to enhance system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Streamlining backend workflows to support rapid deployments across logistics and food-tech applications.
- Implementing strong quality assurance and engineering best practices to ensure robust, production-ready services.

Skills That Would Be an Advantage
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to message-queue systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Understanding of real-time data processing
- Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack
