Senior Software Engineer

Design, develop, test, and maintain RPG-based applications on IBM i platforms.

Develop and integrate Web Services, JSON, and Web API

Translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.

Work collaboratively with Product Owners, QA, and multiple application and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end Supply Chain business solutions.

Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning of the applications.

Modernize legacy RPG code (e.g., RPG III to RPG IV/ILE/Free Format) where necessary ensuring high performance and reliability.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including code reviews and release notes.

Comply with Change Management, PCI, PII, SOX policies and best practices.

Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.

SHIFT TYPE : NIGHT SHIFT

8+ years of experience in RPG development, including RPG IV, RPG ILE, and Free Format RPG.

Strong hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) platforms.

Proficiency in CL, DDS, DB2/400, and service programs/modules.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills to address complex software programming issues.

Ability to work independently and drive development in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Experience with modernization tools like Visual Studio Code, RDi, Implementer, SQL, APIs, web services on IBM i, and AI.

Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)/Scrum/Kanban frameworks.

Exposure to e-Commerce, Retail, Logistics domains.
