Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails resource to join our team at Bengaluru, India Office.

Work Schedule

Candidates are required to follow the work schedule from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.

Job Responsibilities

- Hands-on development of technical projects.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.

- Adopt DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5-7 years relevant experience in custom embedded product development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, including designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web

applications using object-oriented programming principles.

- Deep understanding of Rails architecture, RESTful APIs, MVC design patterns, and application performance optimization.

- Working knowledge of database design and development, preferably with MS SQL Express or similar relational databases.

- Experience with cloud-based architectures and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Proficiency in Git-based version control systems and experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

- Working Knowledge of Android OS.

- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

- Prior experience in scaling enterprise-level applications.

- ISO, FDA or other regulated industry training and experience desired.
