Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or Exposure to any ERP platforms experience. Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
Position Description: We are seeking a Performance / Load Test Engineer to design, build, execute, and continuously improve performance testing for our APIs and B2B portals. The engineer will be responsible for load testing, benchmarking, and performance regression coverage to ensure stable and scalable experiences for internal users and external agents/customers.
RVPerformance Test Strategy & Planning
Define performance test approach for APIs and portal journeys (load, stress, endurance/soak, scalability) and align to release/go-no-go needs.
Partner with Product/Development/Architecture to identify features requiring non-functional testing and ensure KPIs are defined and measurable.
Experience establishing a repeatable non-functional testing cycle ahead of releases and integrating results into Go/No-Go decisions
The ability to convert business requirements into a Workload Model (e.g., how many users are logging in vs. searching vs. checking out).
Use AI copilots to accelerate:
Test case and scenario generation from stories/requirements and documentation.
Drafting performance test scripts and templates faster (with human review).
Script Development & Test Execution
Develop and maintain performance test suites using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
Create realistic scenarios that mimic production-like traffic patterns and volumes; evolve tests as new APIs and features are introduced.
Understanding of how Web Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Microservices interact.
Benchmarking & Performance Targets
Contribute to and maintain benchmarking baselines by application/journey; support reporting of targets to stakeholders and governance forums.
Deep expertise in interpreting Response Time (90th percentile), Throughput (TPS), and Error Rates.
CI/CD Integration & Automation
Execute tests via CI pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and compare results against baselines; detect regressions early and provide actionable insights to engineering teams.
Analysis, Reporting & Recommendations
Analyze results (response times, throughput, error rates) and produce clear reports highlighting bottlenecks, trends, and recommended remediation actions
Collaborate with teams to validate improvements after fixes and confirm no performance degradation across releases.
Familiarity with performance monitoring/observability concepts and correlating test outcomes with system behavior (CPU/memory/DB/network)
Monitoring & Analysis Skills
Experience with monitoring tools such as:
