Senior Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Relevant experience required - Between 4-8 years only

Must have skill set: -

1. C Programming (System Programming) - Core programming language for File Storage Service development.
2. Multi-threaded & Concurrent Programming - Essential for building high-performance storage services.
3. Distributed Systems - Designing scalable, fault-tolerant cloud storage services.
4. Linux Internals & System Programming - Processes, memory management, file I/O, IPC, kernel concepts.
5. Data Structures & Algorithms
6. Cloud Infrastructure & High Availability
7. Storage/File Systems Knowledge - NFS, POSIX, distributed file systems, storage architecture.

Basic Qualifications:

* Strong knowledge of C (System programming) and Multi-threaded programming

* 5+ years experience developing commercial software in a distributed environment.

* Understanding of software systems analysis and design, and software development life cycle.

* Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.

* Fundamentals of Distributed systems

* Linux & Networking skills

* Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

* Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders towards achieving success of the task at hand.

Optional skills: Knowledge of storage concepts and file systems.

Education: BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields with experience of 5+ years in the functional area.
