Senior Software Engineer - OpenText
Location: Hyderabad/Chennai
Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Write clean code to develop functional applications on/for Content Server
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Perform UI tests to optimize performance
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Provide training and support to internal teams
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
- Follow emerging technologies
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management using OpenText Content Server
- Expertise on Content Server development using WebReports, LiveReports and OScript
- Hands on experience in development/enhancements of Workflows, Forms and HTML Views.
- Should have experience in creating XSL Stylesheets with XSL Transformation.
- Prior experience in OpenText add-on modules like eSign, Business Workspaces, Records Management
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Development experience with XML, JSON and Restful Services
- Should have worked in Agile environment
- Exposure to CICD tools like GitLab
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Database (Oracle) and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience with TDD/BDD development
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and CSS)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
Qualification
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on with OpenText Content Server
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
