Senior Software Engineer

Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled C++ Developer with experience in developing plugins, extensions, or custom applications for CAD/BIM platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing custom plugins and integrations for ALLPLAN, working closely with the project team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Experience with ALLPLAN APIs/SDKs is preferred. Candidates with strong experience in C++ development and other CAD/BIM platforms are also encouraged to apply.

• Develop custom plugins, add-ons, and extensions for the ALLPLAN platform.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain C++ applications and modules.
• Integrate custom functionalities with ALLPLAN APIs, SDKs, and existing workflows.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and convert them into efficient software solutions.
• Develop automation tools to improve CAD/BIM modeling and design workflows.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software and integration issues.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and software development teams.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of developed plugins.

• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience in software design, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of developing plugins, add-ins, extensions, or desktop applications.
• Understanding of CAD/BIM software architecture and workflows.
• Experience working with APIs and SDKs.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio and modern C++ development practices.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ALLPLAN APIs/SDKs and plugin development.
• Experience with CAD/BIM platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, MicroStation, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of C#, Python, or other scripting/programming languages.
• Experience with geometry, graphics programming, or 3D modelling concepts.
• Understanding of design automation and engineering workflows.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
