Senior Software Engineer

Role: Sr. Developer & lead & Architect – C/C++

Experience- 3 to 12 Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Developer with 3–12 years of hands-on expertise in C, C++, Pro*C, and Oracle. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of Stored Procedure development and be capable of compiling and packaging Samson/Billing/Ensemble code (pro4C). This role involves leading development efforts, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless integration between application logic and database operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of applications using C, C++, and Pro*C.
• Architect and implement complex Oracle Stored Procedures to support business logic and data workflows.
• Compile, package, and deploy Samson/Billing/Ensemble code (pro4C) across environments with precision and reliability.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database queries and application modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to software development standards and lifecycle processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming expertise in C and C++.
• Advanced proficiency in Pro*C for database interaction.
• Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and Stored Procedure development.
• Proven experience with Samson/Billing/Ensemble code compilation and packaging (pro4C).
• Familiarity with version control systems and software configuration management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in telecom or enterprise billing systems.
• Exposure to Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and large-scale data processing.
