Role:
We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js along with a good understanding of REST APIs, database design, and modern frontend development practices. Experience working with AI-powered development tools is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Design and implement responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.js.
- Build reusable components and optimize applications for maximum performance.
- Develop secure and efficient RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB databases including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Utilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools to improve development productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services as required.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
- Ensure code quality through best coding practices, code reviews, and unit testing.
- Work with version control systems such as Git and follow CI/CD practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI-assisted development practices, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript concepts.
- Expertise in React.js, Redux/Context API, and frontend state management.
- Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB including aggregation, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Mandatory experience using AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar AI coding assistants.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
