Title And Summary
Senior Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills and a quality-first mindset, contributing across the full software development lifecycle including development, automated testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
- Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related technologies.
- Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
DevOps & Automation
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
- Improve build, deployment, and testing processes through automation.
- Monitor application performance and participate in operational support.
Quality Engineering
- Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and API tests.
- Build and maintain automated test suites to improve product quality and release confidence.
- Create test scenarios, test data, and validation strategies based on business requirements.
- Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
- Support performance, deployment verification, and release testing activities.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in development and testing processes.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and Microservices.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, REST Assured, Postman, or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience API Automation, or test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.
