Senior Software Engineer

Experience/Skill:

• Bachelor or Higher Degree in Computer Science and engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IBM i, SMART/400 based insurance applications specialized in Life/Asia application
• Experience in working with Life Asia & SOAP API's.
• Experience in CL Programming.
• Experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is an added advantage.
• Provide a good quality level of SMART/400 based insurance applications
• Develops, customizes, enhances, maintains and supports Life/400, Life/Asia, Integral Life Insurance software application system
• Experience in data migration from other system to Life Asia.

Desirable:

• Strong analytical skill
• Strong co-ordination skills required to liaise with counterparts within the Company
• Experience in conceptual and functional business process modeling.
• Knowledge of insurance industry is a plus
• Relationship management skills
• Being able to communicate in fluent English
• Experience on Agile methodology

• Database: DB2
• Development: COBOL400, SMART400, CLLE.
• Tools: MSP, WAS, MQ, Jira, SOUP UI, Eclipse
