About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM), including Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro). This is a technical engineering role, not an ITAM analyst or platform administration role. The successful candidate will design, build, script, and integrate scalable ServiceNow solutions, owning development from architecture through deployment.

You will be responsible for platform engineering, automation, data model design, integration development, and ITAM module customization within a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• ServiceNow Development & Engineering
• Design and develop custom solutions within ServiceNow using: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, UI Actions, Service Portal widgets
• Develop scoped and global applications aligned to enterprise standards.
• Architect and implement scalable ITAM solutions across HAM Pro and SAM Pro.
• ITAM & CMDB Technical Ownership
• Design and configure asset lifecycle workflows and reconciliation rules.
• Implement and enhance normalization, discovery integrations, and asset-to-CI relationships.
• Improve CMDB data model alignment with CSDM standards.
• Develop automation to support compliance, optimization, and governance initiatives
• Integration Development
• Design and build bi-directional integrations using: REST APIs, IntegrationHub, Import Set APIs, Table APIs
• Platform Quality & Optimization
• Develop and execute Automated Test Framework (ATF) suites. Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Maintain code quality, version control, and deployment governance across environments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Partner with ITAM, Security, Finance, and Service Delivery teams but retain technical ownership of solution design and build.
• Support integrations with discovery tools, endpoint management systems, procurement platforms, and financial systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in: JavaScript and Glide API, Business Rules and Script Includes, Flow Designer automation, IntegrationHub and REST integrations
• Proven experience implementing and customizing ITAM (HAM Pro and/or SAM Pro) modules.
• Experience designing and maintaining CMDB data models and reconciliation rules.
• Strong understanding of CSDM.
• Experience building custom applications (scoped/global).
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
