Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer who doesn't just write code-but uses AI to accelerate, optimize, and rethink development workflows. You'll build scalable systems while leveraging tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT to improve productivity and code quality.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering + applied AI, not pure ML research.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Discover and fix programming bugs

AI-Augmented Development

• Use AI tools to
• Generate and optimize code
• Debug faster
• Automate repetitive tasks
• Build internal workflows using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc)
• Integrate AI into products (chatbots, copilots, automation layers)

System Thinking + Productivity

• Reduce engineering effort using automation
• Improve dev velocity (target: 2–5x productivity vs traditional devs
• Evaluate when AI helps vs when manual coding is better

Collaboration

• Work with product, design, and data teams
• Translate business problems into technical + AI-driven solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Development experience with programming languages
• SQL database or relational database skills

Strong in at least one:

• JavaScript (Node.js /React)
• Python
• Java/ Go

Solid understanding of:

• APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)

What Success Looks like:

• Ships features faster than traditional engineers
• Uses AI to reduce development time by 30–70%
• Builds scalable systems with AI embedded, not bolted on
