About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Joblet.ai, you will be a technical anchor on our product engineering team, driving architecture decisions and mentoring junior engineers. You will own complex systems end-to-end, from design through deployment, and play a critical role in shaping how we scale our AI-native hiring infrastructure globally.

What You Will Do

• System Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of high-impact, high-scale systems across the Joblet.ai platform.
• Technical Leadership: Drive architecture discussions and produce clear technical specs that align engineering output with broader product goals. Define technical standards and best practices across backend, frontend, and data layers.
• Mentorship: Elevate the engineering team by mentoring peers through rigorous code reviews, pair programming, and continuous technical guidance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with the Machine Learning and Data teams to bring intelligent matching capabilities and AI-driven features to production.
• System Health: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex reliability, security, and performance bottlenecks.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience with a demonstrated track record of impact in a product-led environment.
• Backend Expertise: Deep proficiency in backend systems (Python, Go, or Node.js preferred) and a strong grasp of distributed systems design.
• Infrastructure & Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Execution: A proven track record of owning and successfully delivering large-scale technical projects end-to-end.
• Communication: Excellent technical communication skills. You must be able to translate complex system decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mindset: A strong growth mindset and a genuine interest in leveraging AI/ML applications within enterprise software.
