Senior Software Engineer (Java, Spring boot, GCP)

Complexity: Under general direction. Works on new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in maintenance/development capacity.

Experience: 4 year degree/post 4 year degree/equivalent certifications, and typically 4 - 7 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience (cloud based tech/languages, technology stacks, etc.)

Impact: Results impact project/program completion.

Influence / Leadership: Frequently interacts with subordinate functional peer groups. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.

Scope: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Supervision: If in a more experienced role may mentor junior staff.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

1. Hands on coding experience in Core Java(preferably Jdk8+) and J2EE technologies with 5-7 years of experience, good understanding of data structures

2. Complete understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design & Programming

3. Hands on experience with Spring Framework and related (spring-core, apo & spring-boot)

4. Hands on experience using Software Design Patterns of GOF, J2EE and related

5. Strong Experience in web services development, SOAP and REST

6. Experience in SOA and micro services architecture

7. Complete Understanding of relational databases and NoSQL databases. Relational DB (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (Mongo)

8. Demonstrated knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, Shell Scripts

9. Experience with Maven, Jenkins, GIT , Github

10. Understanding of TDD practices and experience with Unit, System, Integration Testing & Performance Testing - JMeter, JConsole etc

11. Experience working with tools like IntelliJ, Putty, Winscp, SoapUI/Postman/Bruno, Sql developer and Mandatory exposure on GCP in projects.

Notes:

1. Mandatory experience in Java springboot Microservices and GCP minimum 3 years.
2. Preferring : Bangalore Candidates who can take Interview in person and notice period less than 30 days
