Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance backend services and data pipeline components.
- Support ingestion, transformation, and enrichment of large-scale data sets.
- Contribute to technical design documentation and implementation planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
- Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering standards and development practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Support CI/CD, deployment, and operational readiness activities as needed.
- Communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations clearly to project stakeholders.

Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience with data-intensive systems.
- Strong experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL, NoSQL, and performance optimization.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC practices, unit testing, integration testing, and code review processes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and source control platforms including Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, electronic health records, or value-based care data environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale cloud data platforms.
- Experience with production issue triage and root cause analysis.
