Senior Software Engineer (Java, Kotlin)

Overview

A global technology organization is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and operation of large-scale marketing technology platforms. The team builds and maintains services that enable customer engagement, campaign execution, content delivery, audience segmentation, personalization, marketing automation, scheduling, messaging, and analytics.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain communication platform services.
• Participate in architecture discussions and evaluate technical solutions for scalability and long-term sustainability.
• Deliver new features and enhancements across multiple platform components.
• Build robust systems with strong performance, availability, reliability, and scalability characteristics.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to peers.
• Diagnose production issues and implement preventative improvements.
• Partner with engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming expertise in:
• Java
• Kotlin
• Good understanding of cloud computing technologies and services, including experience with one or more of:
• AWS
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Microsoft Azure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Business-level English proficiency.
