This is onsite role at Bangalore. Office is located at MG Road.

What you will do

• Drive the design and development of new financial technology products and services from the ground up.

• Develop high-quality components, features, and Micro-Services as part of a collaborative, high-performance engineering team.

• Enhance and maintain existing enterprise-grade products — both functionally and from a performance standpoint.

• Collaborate seamlessly with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

• Champion quality through automated unit tests, performance tuning, and stress testing.

• Take ownership of features through the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Partner closely with developers and QA engineers to deliver best-in-class design and implementation.

What you will bring

Essential

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent — strong academic foundations matter here.

• 3+ years of enterprise software development experience with a track record of delivering complex, large-scale products.

• 3+ years of strong core Java experience - application design, backend server development, and testing.

• Proven expertise in multi-threaded and low-latency programming.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and low-level performance optimisation.

• Hands-on experience building and deploying Micro-Services (implementation, testing, and deployment).

• Proficiency with Java Spring Framework.

• Experience with messaging middleware such as JMS, AMQP, or equivalent.

• Working knowledge of both NoSQL and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MongoDB) including ORM layers.

• Familiarity with thin-client technologies such as AngularJS, jQuery, or Node.js.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present technical ideas clearly.

• Solid grasp of software best practices: CI/CD, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous delivery.

• Exposure to DevOps practices and Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.

• Experience across the full product development lifecycle, ideally on large, distributed, scalable enterprise platforms.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol.

• Prior experience with financial or banking applications — a significant advantage in this environment.
