Key Job Responsibilities
- Participate in development life cycle activities like design, coding, testing, and production release.
- Lay the foundation for an amazing engineering team. Implement best practices and coding standards.
- Deliver the code in an agile team environment.
- Lead code reviews to drive the team to the highest standards for Node.js apps & Angular web apps.
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- Tracking down and fixing bugs, performance issues, or display issues.
- Be a problem solver in an open, highly collaborative, team environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 6-10 years of professional experience developing and deploying web-based software
- A mastery of API design/implementation, HTML5, CSS3, responsive applications, JavaScript, JSON, NodeJS, Git
- Proficient with Angular, React, or Vue
- Proficient with RDBMS (especially MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- A strong sense of UI/UX design and layout
- Well versed in modern software development tools and best practices such as agile development, JIRA, Git, DevOps, continuous integration, and automated deployment pipelines
- Strong communication skills
You would stand out if you have experience with the following:
- Serverless programming technologies (like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions)
- Experience with best practices in data protection and privacy
- iOS/Android development
